I have a Panasonic FZ18 camera. The camera uses DMW-BMA7 battery. So when I saw the MyBattery HQ DMW-BMA7 compatible battery I thought it would be great. I bought two of them for my long travel trip. After they were delivered, then I found that MyBattery's MBH-DMW-BMA7 cannot be completely inserted into the FZ18 camera. After a close examination, I found physically the pins at the shoe are not as wide open as the original. I had to use a knife to open up the pins before I could use the battery in the camera. Even after the "surgery", I still need to use force to put the battery inside the camera.
